Dear camp owner or personnel manager,
I am writing seeking a position as a customer service representative or a situation in maintenance and repair. I have a 37’ Allegro Bay Class A motorhome and would like an RV site and some salary in exchange for my services. As my attached resume will show I have lots of experience in many areas including:
• Computer repair
• Satellite system installation and repair
• Swimming pool operation, maintenance and repair
• AC and DC electrical system repair
• Small engine, Auto and Truck mechanic
I already have the tools to do almost any job I need to do. I have attached pictures of some of the tools I own and travel with and a picture of us. In addition to the already mentioned abilities, my girlfriend and I also have a PA system, microphones etc. for DJ Parties and to do karaoke, with a library of over 1000 karaoke songs with lyrics, and a library of over 12000 regular songs for dj parties.
To tell you more about us, I’m 54, I now have a computer sales and repair shop in Shelby NC. We plan to close the store in early to mid October and will be ready to move on to our new life as a RVr, in early to mid November and will be available to work then. My girlfriend is 35 and we have 4 medium to large well behaved dogs, lab and lab mix. We’ve been together for over 2 years and have a great relationship. Neither of us have any type of criminal record; we both have driver’s licenses and good driving records. I have kept my contacts and status as a pool dealer with my wholesale pool parts suppliers, and I’m a computer dealer and buy computer parts at wholesale too. My girlfriend Sherrandy, has lots of experience in customer service and management from working in the restaurant and video store retail industries.

June 97 to Present: I am currently self employed. I have a computer sales and repair store I do computer sales upgrades and repairs I also am involved in selling and repairing satellite TV, and pool related products., selling, installing and servicing C-band (big dish) and mini dish (dish network and direct TV) satellite dish systems, and swimming pool parts, sales, and minor repairs.
July 95 to June 97:Director of Marketing. Retail Computer Solutions, Charlotte NC. Was hired to evaluate competitive products and develop the sales and marketing strategies for a shop management program for auto and truck repair shops.
January 93 to April 95:Territory Manager. ALLDATA Corp., Elk Grove California. Consulted with auto repair shop owners analyzing their strengths and weaknesses in order to assist them to be more profitable, competitive, or to achieve whatever their particular goal(s) might be. It was my goal to fit one or more of Alldata's products into the solution of their problems. We offered auto repair shop marketing/management tools and an automotive repair information database on CD Rom, I taught shop owners and their techs how to use this information to fix today’s computerized automobiles. I also sold, installed, and repaired IBM PC clones that ran our software. My customer base was auto repair shops in 13 counties of NC.
June 90 to January 93:General Manager. Carribbean Clear of Cleveland County, NC. Responsible for opening and operating new dealership in Cleveland County. Finished #5 in the nation in 1991, out of 166 dealerships. Product line is water purification systems for pools, spas, and industrial applications. Customer base ranged from home owners to commercial/industrial users and municipalities.
May 89 to June 90: Sales/Service Director, Carribbean Clear of Palisades Park, NJ. Hired, trained, and supervised sales and service personnel. Designed and supervised installation of our swimming pool purification products in commercial and residential pools, followed up with customers to assure their satisfaction, and to obtain leads for future sales.
March 87 to May of 89: Sales Manager, Sonitrol Security, Greenville, SC. Developed and supervised sales program. We marketed residential and commercial security and fire protection systems, closed circuit TV, and other related products.
November 84 to February 87: Sales Manager/Customer Service Representative, Baker & Son Electronics, Piedmont SC. Primary responsibilities were to sell C-band satellite television systems. Hired, trained, and supervised sales and service personnel and handled customer complaints. Also assisted in the implementation of all print and radio advertising programs.
January 84 to November 84: Sales Representative, Kayak Pool Company, Charlotte, NC. Finished as the company's top salesman in the Charlotte division in 1984. Duties included the sales of swimming pools and related equipment in 10 counties of upstate SC and NC.
Prior Experience, 1973 - 1984: Dump truck owner/driver, heavy equipment operator/mechanic, dozers, loaders, paving equipment, backhoes, etc. in the very early 70s. Building construction, demolition and remodelling mixed thorough the 70's. Late 70s I became a full time mechanic.
